Patrick Hynds, is the CEO and Founder of Pulsar Security. An expert on Microsoft technology and experienced with a wide range of other technologies as well, he was named by Microsoft as the Regional Director for Boston in recognition as a leader in the technology field (this is a title bestowed on partners of Microsoft and not an employee position). Patrick has taught software development and Network Architecture and has been a successful consultant who enjoys mastering difficult troubleshooting assignments. A graduate of West Point and a decorated, Gulf War veteran, Patrick brings an uncommon level of dedication to his leadership role at Pulsar Security. Experienced in addressing business challenges with special emphasis on security issues involving leading-edge database, storage, web and hardware systems. Patrick has often spoken at major technical conferences including: TechEd US, TechEd Hong Kong, the Middle East Developer's Conference in Cairo, Egypt, Microsoft Security Summit in New York and Boston, DevDays, Code Camp and many more. In spite of the demands of his management role at Pulsar Security, Patrick stays technical and in the trenches acting as Project Manager and/or developer/security engineer on selected projects throughout the year.
