In this session we'll build a basic bookmarking app that serves as a skeleton framework for building more complex data-driven, microservices-enhanced, applications. React.JS is used on the front end because it's more fun to use than Angular. The InterSystems IRIS database is used for its low-code approach to defining relational data stores. And the application reaches out to Azure Cognitive services to suggest good tags for the web page being bookmarked. Attendees will learn how to combine these technologies and better understand how to architect and build client-server-microservices systems.
